I made this pizza for a bit of a joke, but it turned out to be a really combo and is a favourite now. Liquorice Schnapps is just to add an extra weirdness to it all!

I can thoroughly recommend Steve's pizzas. I haven't seen the swirl in the air bit, though, but I believe he does do it at times.

This one in the photo was a cheat - I had no superfine flour in so used a ready-made base. Trick to good pizzas - get the right flour, and put a little brown sugar in the mix to get a crispy base.

yum! another good trick for pizza bases is one of those pizza stones, we have one and the base always come out nice and crispy

Yep - we have a stone too... I've recently started putting it on the bbq (which a roasting rack underneath so it's not touched)... does the best pizzas. Poor mans wood-fired pizza oven. The more I look at this picture the more it bothers me how dry and yuck the base looks - have to cook another one with proper base for redo!
